Good Morning Ledyard. As I am sure many of you have been watching on TV or social media feeds, the weather has been a leading story line for our area. After closely monitoring projections for the incoming nor'easter, we have some changes to our athletic schedule for the remainder of the week due to the anticipated weather conditions (mainly Saturday's contests). For everyone's clarity, I have posted our LHS athletic contests for the next three days, including make up dates:
Thursday September 24
JV Boys Soccer at NFA (Fontaine Field) at 4:00pm (Bus leaves LHS at 2:30pm)
V Girls Soccer hosts Killingly at 4:30pm (turf) *note--new start time of 4:30pm*
FR Volleyball hosts NFA at 4:30pm *note--later start time of 4:30pm*
JV Volleyball hosts NFA at 4:30pm *note-later start time of 4:30pm*
V Volleyball hosts NFA at 6:00pm *note-later anticipated start time of 6:00pm, however, will start after the JV game*
Friday September 25
JV Boys Soccer at New London at 3:30pm (moved from Saturday to Friday due to weather) Bus leaves LHS at 2:15pm

Please check the latest route information at ledyard.net and use the closest listed bus stop to your residence. Buses do not stop at every home, so families should plan to report to the nearest designated stop.

We've updated the latest draft of Bus Routes as of 10am, today, Tuesday. The transportation team is still working through new enrollments and other requests. Update date/time will be noted on the top of the Transportation website page.
Tomorrow, the teachers and Paraeducators are back...
And just like that, summer is officially on notice.
Their official return to our schools, means classrooms start coming back to life, hallways get a whole lot busier, and we're one big step closer to welcoming our students on Thursday.
And before we turn the page to the week ahead, a HUGE thank you to LEAF for yesterday’s Back-to-School Bash!
The weather tried. It really did, but Ledyard showed up anyway, and it was, in fact, a Bash of Awesomeness. Great families, great organizations, lots of kids, and exactly the kind of community spirit that makes Ledyard such a special place.
Thank you to everyone at LEAF and all of the volunteers and community partners who made it happen!
